This week -30 July,31 July and 1st August, our team from Kampala office had the privilege of visiting two refugee settlements in Uganda—Kyaka II and Rwamwanja refugee Settlements. The visit was organized and led by His Like Me, as part of our continued follow-up on the education and feeding programs we started several years ago.
Together, we also trained refugee communities in entrepreneurship and business skills to help families build sustainable livelihoods and become more self-reliant.
The experience was both encouraging and humbling. While we have witnessed lives being transformed, the needs remain overwhelming. Many children still attend school hungry, lack basic scholastic materials, and families continue to struggle to earn a stable income.
Jesus asked Peter in John 21, “Do you love me?… Feed my sheep.” He also reminds us in Matthew 22:37–39 that the greatest commandments are to love God with all our heart and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Today, we have an opportunity to put that love into action.

Entrepreneurship Training: Expand business and financial literacy programs that equip communities with practical skills for long-term self-reliance.
